POSITION STATEMENT
ON
TOBACCO USE

Because the adverse health and economic effects of tobacco use on humans are well-recognized in the medical community, the Alliance for Health supports continuing efforts in the private and public sectors to adopt programs, regulations and policies leading to the ultimate elimination of tobacco use.
