HONORING WEST MICHIGAN’S OWN BETTY FORD
Join us for a very special Once in a Blue Moon @ High Noon event at which the Alliance for Health will honor Betty Ford with the 2010 Hillman Award, presented annually to visionaries in the health care industry.
In attendance will be Steve Ford, who will accept the award on behalf of his mother, the former First Lady and co-founder of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., and of Betty Ford Breast Care Services in Grand Rapids, including the Betty Ford Diagnostic Breast Center in Spectrum Health’s Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion.
Please save 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, to join us at the JW Marriott for this special luncheon event honoring Betty Ford. A separate evening gala event will honor West Michigan health care professionals, volunteers and organizations and highlight a new award program to be announced by the Alliance for Health. The evening event will be held at a later date.
