The United States expects the best of everything.  But are we the best in health and health care?  America’s health care capabilities and finances are being overwhelmed.  Change is needed.  As a society we need to provide reasonable access to health care.  As individuals, we must live healthier lifestyles and take responsibility for our health behaviors and choices.  America deserves health care that is safe, with recommended care provided at the right time every time, efficiently, affordably, without bias and sensitive to each individual’s needs.

In this election year, many national organizations are jumping on the bandwagon for health care reform, including the American Medical Association, American Hospital Association, AARP (American Association of Retired Persons), America’s Health Insurance Plans and more.

The April First Friday Forum will discuss these issues and describe one of the national initiatives called “DIVIDED WE FAIL.”  This initiative is being spearheaded by AARP in conjunction with the Business Roundtable, the Service Employees International Union and others.  Please join us.
